According to the Gear Boy (like a Game Boy) secret, Greg befriended and fell for a married woman named Stacy who lived in room 503 with her husband, Luke and their daughter, Megan. Sal's friend, Todd has a ghost in the bathroom - a hopeless romantic named Greg. Upon arrival sometime after Diane's funeral, Sal is immediately aware that there is something off about the building.
Scarred by it, Mr Addison becomes a hermit and locks himself in his room. One by one, all the Addisons except for Mr Terrence Addison passed away. Mr Addsion's family came from overseas and bought the land off old Miss Rosenberg to construct the building, who thought the company would be nice 'to share the agony of life with'. It turns out that the Addison's Apartments has a dark past of its own. No one but most likely his father, his best friend (later on step-brother) Larry and his friend/crush Ash has seen underneath the mask. Understandably, Sal is very sensitive about the topic regarding his mask and how his face was supposively torn off. Just like Sal, the protagonist wears a blank, expressionless surgical mask to hide her deformed face while her father tries to find a replacement face. It refers to the 1960's film 'Eyes Without a Face'. However, there is a lingering suspicion that Charley may have been a pawn. It is assumed that Charley, a reclusive man who collects My Glitter Pony figures (A reference to My Little Pony) killed her but some new evidence suggest that he was falsely accused. This is just when Sal's neighbour, Mrs Sanderson has been brutally murdered the night before Sal and his dad moved in. He and his dad (who suffers from depression due to losing his wife, Diane) move to Addison's Apartments in Pittsburgh (if I read right) where Sal makes friends with Larry Johnson, a death metal fan with an equally sad past of his own. Sal happens to have a prosthetic mask after a possible incident with a dog that mauled his face off and killed his mother. Sally Face is a game similar to Fran Bow where you play as Sal 'Sally Face' Fisher, a blue haired 15 year old boy with a tragic past of sorts. So if you don't know the game or its story, why are you here?) You will surely enjoy this a little bit gloomy yet profound and intriguing game that will touch your heart as well as make you ponder on some existential topics.(Warning: Contains spoilers. The game is divided into several chapters, each focused on its own bunch of events and giving us a chance to get a better glimpse into the life of the locals, their troubles and joys, petty quarrels and age-old mysteries. Following a trail of clues, exploring the house and the whole town, enlisting the help of his new buddies, Sally Face has to reveal the truth. The ghost tells her sad story and pleads our hero to find the killer who remains undisclosed and lives in this town under the disguise of a good neighbor and a nice guy. That’s when the game turns into a detective story.
And not with her own death… Sally Face and his friends set out on a murder investigation! What’s more important, Sally meets someone he didn’t expect to see in his new place of residence – a ghost of a girl who died long ago. We are about to find out some facts about them as well, adding to the whole atmosphere and the unhurried pace of the narrative. These are all local boys that have their own background and personalities.

During the gameplay, we see bits of memories lifting the veil of mystery over his (apparently) tragic past, but we never get a full picture. Besides, he has a hair of blue color put together in two pigtails and is generally rather solitary and strange. So who is Sally Face? This nickname was given to the main character, a young boy who just moved to a new town together with his father, for a bizarre habit of constantly wearing a mask covering his face. Will he be able to do it having the help of his new friends and of course yours? Who is he and why is he wearing that mask? One of them urges him to uncover a crime that happened in the town many years ago. After some terrible tragedy of his own, the little boy apparently got some supernatural abilities and started talking to ghosts. Sally Face is an adventure game with elements of horror and puzzle solving with quite a weird main hero.
